WELCOME

Next Meeting

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Tuesday 20th May comprising The Green Charity meeting at 6.00pm followed by The Annual Parish Assembly at 6.30pm and the Annual Parish Council meeting at 7pm.

The meetings will take place at the Weasenham Community Building and members of the public are very welcome to attend.

Weasenham Parish Council has positions for seven Councillors. Currently, it only has four. These four volunteers are the first tier of local government and they are there to represent the interests of our Community. Only having four Councillors makes it difficult to realise all that we want to do. The current Council has achieved much, but it could do more with a full complement of Councillors. Being a Councillor can be rewarding. There is satisfaction in knowing that you are doing something for your Community. It doesn’t necessitate giving up too many hours. In fact, the more of us there are, the fewer the hours that are individually required. If you think that you would like to join us, please feel free to contact the Clerk or any of the current Councillors. They will be happy to talk you through what we do and the process of joining, which is very simple. You could come along to a Parish Council Meeting, which we hold in the Community Building on the third Tuesday of every other month, and see what’s involved. Details of the next meeting are shown in the panel above.
